HomePro-HMPRO Q1/68 Reports Revenue of 18,654.46 Million Baht Amid Ongoing Economic Challenges
Home Product Center Public Company Limited, or “HomePro,” has reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2025 (ending March 31, 2025), showing a net profit of 1,707.38 million baht, a slight decrease from the same period last year. This reflects the company's management capabilities amid a still sluggish purchasing power due to economic factors experienced in the past quarter.
Mr. Weerapun Angsumalee, Managing Director of Home Product Center Public Company Limited (HMPRO), disclosed that for Q1 2025, the company had total revenue of 18,654.46 million baht and a net profit of 1,707.38 million baht. The decline in revenue is attributed to the slowdown in consumer purchasing power due to economic conditions, reduced spending limits under the E-Receipt program for general stores, fewer working days in February compared to the previous year, and the delayed onset of summer in Thailand, along with rainfall in many areas, which led to a decrease in sales of electrical appliances, particularly cooling products, compared to the same period last year.
The company also reported rental income of 471.29 million baht, an increase of 20.46 million baht or 4.54% from the previous year, due to improved collection of rental income from HomePro branches and Market Village shopping centers.
Mr. Weerapun further stated that during Q1 2025, the Thai economy continues to face challenges from both external and domestic factors, such as the uncertainty surrounding U.S. international trade policies and the overall domestic economy, which is experiencing low growth rates. This has resulted in consumer spending not fully recovering. However, the government has implemented economic stimulus measures through the Easy E-Receipt 2025 program during January and February, allowing consumers to deduct up to 50,000 baht from their taxes for purchases of goods and services. The criteria have been adjusted from the previous year, with 30,000 baht allocated for general stores and 20,000 baht for community enterprises and OTOP stores. This separation of tax deduction limits has led to a slight decrease in sales for general stores compared to the previous year.

In March, Thailand experienced a delayed onset of summer compared to the previous year, along with rainfall in many areas, which caused discomfort for customers visiting the branches and led to a slight decrease in sales of cooling-related products, such as air conditioners and fans, compared to the previous year. Consequently, same-store sales declined during the first quarter.
Additionally, at the end of March, an earthquake occurred in Myanmar, impacting Thailand, particularly in the northern regions and Bangkok. Following this event, the company conducted thorough inspections of the structural integrity of its branches and offices, finding no damage. The company has also supported the community and society by providing inspection and damage assessment services for residential properties, as well as preparing to meet the increased demand for home repair products that is expected to rise after the inspection and assessment process is completed.
“HomePro continues to strengthen its business by developing an online marketplace platform alongside ongoing promotional activities, including the Double Day event and other regular promotional campaigns, while also preparing to meet the growing demand for home repair products in the upcoming period,” Mr. Weerapun concluded.
